It was an honor proving that I was a capable admin unlike before, I'm happy to have been apart of TTT's growth, but all the time that I have now for games, I either spend on WC3 or dota, but my days are mostly packed with work, so I give SO spot up, hoping an active member of the clan will take my place and do a better job!

I neglected to add that SuccubusPimp was added; Thorgot had to recompile it for me due to my compiling against a newer version of csgo. this caused issues for other races and is now resolved. I did go in to restrict health, speed, and jump items for the race. 

This, I was tempted to just drop out because of it.

Its been a fun couple of years but it must continue on. Been staff for awhile now and video games are still pretty fucking fun.

 

I will most likely pop in once every few hours to see how things are going.

C12k made truth with his arguements about skill level when it comes to L4D. I am sort of a subject matter expert when it comes to it because I used to play play both games from launch, technically I have over 1,000 hours between them. Doesn't mean I am bad, infact when I used to play I was always considered top tier in my group. Had friends with 3,000+ hours after a couple years of game launch and I was still consider better than them and at the same time I've been with and against teams that I can't do anything.
 
As stated, CS:S and CS:GO skills does not transfer over into L4D on a 1:1 ratio. Horde, special infected and map mechanics are the main drive toward how well a player does in the game. Can you crown a witch while you are running towards her and when she is running toward you? I've seen it and that game was a slaughter because that team I was against was on a very high competitive level.

In a couple posts I made earlier in this thread about how I have the right to bitch about that merit slot. Well here's my reason: IT FUCKING SCREAMS ARROGANCE. By two counts, "I'm a badass at L4D so I deserve merit for it and because I'm staff member I can do whatever I think is considered fair." I was trying to point that out to you discreetly but apparently I need to just say it straight.

I never said the (arguably) top two teams should face each other right away. But I don't see how you don't see a problem with automatically giving a bye to yourself and another staff member when you are organizing the tournament, especially when there's also a play in round.
Combine that with the team selection process and this whole thing is a fucking mess.
It's not about how you are running this specifically but your attitude towards the community the entire time.

I've stayed out of this til now, mostly because I don't give a shit about L4D.
 
But when you have a community member trying to have a civilized discussion and making valid points, is then replied to with "I don't mind tasting your tears," and other ridiculously childish shit, I get a little pissed off.
 
It appears the original intention of the bracket set up was for Chosen and Tristans team to play the finals. Giving both teams a bye, and also having a play-in round? This whole thing is ridiculous and I refuse to support it.
